Whoohooo! My husband says he has not seen me this happy with my clothes on!

So different from the original folding bike truly in a league of its own yet still folds into the same compact and manageable package. It rides much more like a full-sized bike. The larger wheels and tyres make the ride more forgiving, handling potholes and uneven surfaces with ease. Connecting the controls to my phone via Bluetooth (handlebar mount required) is super simple, giving me access to speed, distance, time, battery level, and assistance control. Overall, it’s great value and a joy to ride.

I’ve put some miles on the bike now, so time for an updated review. In short — it’s brilliant. I’ve used it on mountain trails, for commuting via car and train, and riding around the city. It’s bulkier than a typical folding bike, but handles potholes and trails much better! The gearing and electric assist combo is a bit of a compromise — the assist cutoff at 15 mph feels low (I envy the U.S. 20 mph limit). A larger rear sprocket or lower gear would help on steep hills and when starting from a stop before assist kicks in. Rear derailleur cable does stretch a bit in the first few miles, but that’s easily corrected with the barrel adjuster. Accessory prices are definitely premium — I got the quad lock mount, lights, and rear rack straps, and the cost added up quickly. Honestly, the straps should be included with the advanced roller rack. I went with green thinking it would be more subtle — but I’ve received so many compliments, I almost wish I’d gone for the orange! That said, green with tan wall tyres looks fantastic. Very pleased with the purchase — it really is an object of desire for me.

Great fun to have an electric bike that also folds. Pricey, but worth the investment in British product.

Beautiful bike and fairly light for an E bike – rides confidently and is comfortable.

Easy to assemble from the box to the road. Great on hills

I purchased primarily to be able to more easily take a bike with me on travels in car, caravan, trains or other public transport and planes. Great design and quality – a bit heavier when transporting it folded than I expected – tho whole package pretty much exactly what I expected. It now remains to be seen how this bike slots into my collection and how much, and in what circumstances I actually use it. Time will tell.

Early days but loving it so far. Proper trial on forest tracks later this week.

A little expensive, but it does deliver a really great foldable gravel bike experience.

Game changer. I’ve been a roadie, time-trial rider, and a bit of a tourer now retired for some years. I still have my 6-speed folding bike, which is a joy, but it hasn’t been ideal for our holidays and the hillier routes we’ve done in recent years. So I switched to the G Line Electric oh my word, what a difference! It took a little time to learn how to manage the battery efficiently, but now… it’s amazing. First two weeks in the very hilly Llyn Peninsula, North Wales brilliant. Then back to Milton Keynes (home) excellent. To rebuild fitness, I keep the assist on low and push myself. I honestly can’t express how much I love this bike. Sure, it may not be for every rider but then again, neither are three-quarters of the bikes out there. And yes, it fits in the back of my medium-sized car.

    One word: awesome!

Superb. The ride is fast on roads and steady on uneven surfaces. Electric assist kicks in when needed even on the lowest setting. The orange colour really makes the bike stand out.

I was quite convinced that an electric bike was not something that I needed yet, but my husband convinced me that we should certainly try them out.Well after my first ride I was so at ease with everything about the bike, changing gear and battery power was so simple. The bikes were just perfect when we used them on the hillier cycle routes in Wales and now can’t wait to explore North Yorkshire.

This brand makes great bikes, and this model takes things to a whole new level. The G Line feels like a non-folding bike — more versatile, more robust, and closer to a full-sized ride. I love my classic folding bike, but the upgrades on this model are impressive: a larger frame, bigger wheels, chunky tyres, powerful brakes — and it still folds. Altogether, it offers a much better riding experience. This one was for my wife, and since she needed a bit of help, we chose the electric version. The motor system is excellent (and legal), giving her full control over the level of assistance — now she rides comfortably no matter the terrain.
