Great bike! Would have loved it to be cheaper, but you get what you pay for!

  2. MR G CROWTHER

A superb, versatile bike which handles well over many surfaces. Shame the gearing isn’t a little lower for touring with a load

  3. Colin Mitchell

This really is a big improvement over the 16″ bikes, It’s much more comfortable to ride and live with, It is heavier but not much, Best of all it’s made in the UK which is rare these days. Top marks it’s so quintessentialy British it’s wonderful.

  4. Cath

    Brilliant, comfortable, versatile bike

  5. JOHN SANDERSON

Spot on rides good on rough and smooth roads and trails comfortable absorbs a lot of rough stuff

  6. Jeremy

A solid and versatile upgrade from my S6L

An excellent bike, obviously bigger but the ride and poise are so much better over varied terrain. The 8speed by Shimano with excellent trigger shifter should be on all Bromptons. On the half fold the front wheel collides with the folded rear wheel more than on the C&P lines. Larger wheel format and tubeless ready makes for easy riding. I use mine for a London commute with country lane start and finishes. On the train it is wider and taller but not much more than the C&P lines and storage in standing areas or luggage racks is much the same. The C&P lines are great bikes but the new G Line is so much more a commanding ride it breeds confidence. On gravel trails and rough terrain it is so much better.

Been looking at getting one since they came out. Finally took the plunge. Great bike, great ride. Gears are a little restrictive but still fine for me. It’s expensive but its quality. Thoroughly recommend getting one

Without wanting to knock the other Brompton models, for a tall and heavy rider this has the stability in urban traffic that was missing on the C Line.
